Sexual Health Drop In

The Place family and children’s centre sexual health drop in (no appointments needed). This is where service users and members of the public can access free STI and pregnancy testing, condoms etc.

Missed Appointments

In the month of January 2025 113 appointments were missed at this practice This equates to 27 hours wasted time. Please let your GP practice or clinic know if you no longer need your appointment so someone else can use it. We have introduced a new appointment reminder system which also allows patients to cancel their appointments and this seems to have had a positive impact on our did not attend rates. We thank our patients that are using this service.

Early closing for training

Please note the surgery will be closed from 12pm on the following dates in 2025 for staff training and development.

Childhood Vaccinations

It's important that vaccines are given on time for the best protection, but if you or your child missed a vaccine, contact your GP to catch up. SPEAK TO YOUR GP SURGERY IF you think you or your child have missed any vaccinations you or your child have a vaccination appointment – but you've missed it or cannot attend Your GP surgery can book or rearrange an appointment. It's best to have vaccines on time, but you can still catch up on most vaccines if you miss them.

Rotherham Council has partnered with DrinkCoach to help residents to get tailored alcohol advice and support on their phone, tablet or laptop. To All Adult Patients: Want to find out how alcohol could be affecting your health and wellbeing? Thinking about making some changes to your drinking to improve your health and wellbeing? Take the alcohol quiz HERE for tips and advice and to book a FREE online and confidential coaching session, for more tailored support. Rotherham residents will be able to access free online coaching sessions which will connect them with a DrinkCoach via video call. Sessions are confidential and convenient with daytime, evening and weekend appointments available.
