Welcome to South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Shows Up – a strategy and social movement designed to engage and involve all our communities and workforces in some bold ambitions to improve cancer outcomes in our region.

Unfortunately, we have one of the highest rates of cancer in England, with the lowest proportion of people diagnosed at an early stage where we can offer curative treatments. We need more of us to understand why that is and to take some confident steps in our own lives, communities, workplaces – and together – to start to turn the tide on cancer outcomes.
